Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Associate Telecommunications Analyst. This is a long term contract role that will mainly be located in Allentown, PA, but supporting all of the Lehigh Valley. There will be occasional travel to Philadelphia sites - mileage reimbursed. The Associate Telecom Analyst will need to assist with the many moves, adds, changes, new builds, acquisitions, etc.
Most of that work involves:
* Providing onsite break/fix support for telecommunications systems, voice endpoints, and communication devices
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, telephony, messaging, and connectivity issues
* Perform basic configuration, deployment, and support of telecom and unified communications devices
* Support Cisco Jabber instant messaging and collaboration-related incidents and requests
* Site survey/walkthroughs, looking at the floor plans, working with practice managers and project managers for phone placement, alarms, faxes(very rarely), and analog needs
* Working through the deployment/placement of phones/hardware and providing support to the staff
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in related field
* 1-4 years of related work experience
* Strong knowledge foundation of telecommunications fundamentals
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues
* Experience with Cisco CUCM and Unity
* Must have valid drivers license and a car
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
