Are you a strategic sales leader who thrives on building high-performing partnerships and driving revenue growth? As the Senior Manager - Carrier & Indirect Channel Sales, you will lead the strategy, execution, and performance of TDS's carrier, wholesale, agent, and indirect sales channels, shaping a critical growth engine for the business.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will own the success of a diverse partner ecosystem, driving revenue, expanding market reach, and accelerating customer growth through strategic channel relationships. You will lead a team of carrier, indirect, and account management professionals, empowering them to exceed revenue targets while delivering exceptional partner experiences.

You will oversee the entire partner lifecycle-from recruiting and onboarding new partners to enabling, developing, and optimizing long-term performance. By identifying new growth opportunities, expanding partner coverage, and implementing innovative programs, incentives, and agreements, you will create mutually beneficial partnerships that deliver measurable business results.

Success in this role requires a leader who can blend strategic vision with operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align go-to-market strategies, enhance partner programs, and streamline execution, ensuring a scalable and high-performing channel organization. Through your leadership, TDS will continue to strengthen its position as a preferred partner for network and connectivity solutions while driving sustainable revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the strategy, growth, and performance of TDS's carrier, wholesale, agent, and indirect sales channels.
  • Own channel revenue performance, including quota attainment, forecasting accuracy, and achievement of new revenue, retention, and expansion goals.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of channel sales and account management professionals.
  • Drive partner recruitment, onboarding, enablement, and ongoing optimization to maximize productivity and market coverage.
  • Develop and execute channel programs, incentives, and partnership agreements that accelerate growth and strengthen partner engagement.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with strategic carrier and indirect partners, positioning TDS as a partner of choice.
  • Enable solution-based selling across TDS's portfolio of network and connectivity solutions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to align strategy and execution.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and market insights to identify opportunities, improve performance, and drive continuous growth.

This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.

Responsibilities
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing carrier sales team; drive rigorous pipeline management, forecast accuracy / discipline, installation performance, and quota attainment.  Recruit, develop, and manage top talent. Establish a high-performance culture focused on execution and partner productivity.
  • Own and deliver total Carrier & Indirect channel total billed revenue (TBR), including new sales, retention, and growth. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, territory management, and carrier and agent engagement strategies.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key carrier customers and indirect partners. Lead partner recruitment, onboarding, contract negotiations, enablement, and performance management.
  • Lead complex deal strategy and execution, including major carrier opportunities, request for proposals (RFPs), and contract negotiations. Oversee lifecycle management from sale through renewal.
  • Partner with internal teams to align go-to-market execution. Establish governance and rules of engagement to minimize channel conflict.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
  • 7+ years' experience in sales leadership.
  • 4+ years' experience in Telecom Carrier/Indirect and agent channel sales.

Other Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of carrier/wholesale and indirect channel models.
  • Strong telecom product knowledge (Ethernet, fiber, transport).
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong CRM discipline.
  • Proven success achieving revenue quotas.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and partner ecosystems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
