Job description

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. start time | Approximately 5+ hours per day
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 25 hours per week, with additional hours potentially available based on business needs and employee availability
Work Location: On-site (In-Office Position)

$20-25 per hour + Commission

Par Logistics is looking for a motivated, competitive communicator to join our Carrier Sales team on a part-time basis. You'll work directly with trucking companies across North America to negotiate rates, secure capacity, build carrier relationships, and help move our customers' freight.

This position is guaranteed a minimum of 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an 8:00 a.m. start time. Additional hours may be available based on business needs and your availability.

If you enjoy talking to people, negotiating, solving problems, and working toward goals, this could be a great fit.

Please Note: This is a part-time, in-office position located in South Barrington, Illinois. Remote and hybrid work are not available.


What You’ll Do

  • Build relationships with carriers and drivers
  • Negotiate freight rates and secure trucks
  • Match available carriers with customer shipments
  • Monitor active loads and handle issues as they arise
  • Grow your carrier network and help maximize profitability
