Job description

At BCM One, we simplify the complex. As a leading provider of next-generation managed services and telecom solutions, we help organizations connect, communicate, and scale with confidence but what truly sets us apart is how we show up for our customers and for each other. Our Enterprise Solutions team sits at the center of that, working across partners, agents, and customers to uncover opportunity where others might see noise. We move fast, challenge each other to think differently, and stay focused on delivering real, measurable results.
As we continue to grow, we're adding an Account Manager to our team to unlock untapped value within our existing customer base. In this role, you'll take ownership of that space, stepping into complex accounts to understand what's really happening and where we can re-engage, protect revenue, and create growth.
In this role, you'll bring a strategic lens to every interaction, identifying ways to reduce churn, strengthen relationships, and uncover new business opportunities, while turning insight into action by creating qualified opportunities for the sales team. Sitting at the intersection of business development, account management, and sales operations, you will help transform fragmented activity into a clear path for growth.
Work Locations:
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity if located near one of our office locations, including Grand Rapids, MI; Herndon, VA; Alpharetta, GA; or Blue Bell, PA.
Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
Travel:
25% annually, within the US
What You Will Do:
  • Uncover opportunity others have missed through research and proactive outreach within assigned base.
  • Build and manage high-volume outbound activity, including cold calling and email.
  • Research accounts to identify decision makers, existing services, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Re-engage inactive or underpenetrated customers and rebuild relationships.
  • Qualify needs and uncover cross-sell opportunities for new solutions without disrupting existing partner agreements.
  • Schedule meetings and pass qualified opportunities to Account Executives for closure.
  • Protect and navigate partner and agency relationships, ensuring proper attribution and compliance.
  • Track all outreach and opportunity activity in CRM systems with strong data discipline.
  • Collaborate across Sales, RevOps, and Channel teams to align on strategy.

What Success Looks Like:
  • You are comfortable picking up the phone and creating conversations from scratch
  • You know how to qualify real opportunity versus noise
  • You understand that not every account is yours to "own" and can operate with respect for partner ecosystems
  • You think critically and act independently, without waiting for perfect direction
  • You have the discipline to manage high activity while maintaining attention to detail

What You Will Need:
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales operations
  • Proven success generating meetings or pipeline through outbound prospecting
  • Experience in channel, agency, or partner-led sales models strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and discovery skills
  • CRM proficiency and strong data hygiene (Salesforce preferred)
  • Telecommunications or technology experience is strongly desired

Who We Are:
BCM One is a leading telecom provider of NextGen Communications and Managed Services that has been in business for 30 years with more than 18,000 business customers and 5,000 channel partners who rely on our products, services, and teams to support their critical underlying network infrastructure. BCM One is the parent company to our family of brands that includes SIP.US, SIPTRUNK, Flowroute, SkySwitch, and Pure IP.
Joining the BCM One team is a chance to be part of a financially strong company with an exciting growth story; over the past 4 years we've brought together leading companies in our space who have built products, services, and programs to innovate and disrupt our industry. Now, operating under one roof, we are taking BCM One to the next level and looking for talented individuals to help make that happen.
When you choose to work at BCM One, you get to work with a talented team and build experience with the leading technologies, suppliers, and partners in our industry. We don't offer cookie-cutter solutions, so the opportunities are endless, and the work is always varied and interesting. We take our mission "to provide a world-class experience with every human interaction" seriously, which means everything you do makes a difference. And we're committed to building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive workforce and environment that empowers you to do your best work, spread your wings and reach your full potential. At BCM One, we encourage our team to learn something new every day, so you don't just become part of our growth story, we become part of yours.

How we take care of you:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Matching 401 (k) plan
  • Employee Emergency Assistance Fund
  • Paid holidays and vacation time
