Bring Better to the Bedside as an advanced practice hospitalist in Macon, Georgia, at Piedmont Macon Northside

Local Team Collaboration:
  • Join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 4 APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.
  • Work alongside one APP hospitalist during the day, rounding on an average of 18 patients/day.

Qualifications:
  • Board eligible or board certified FM or IM as per ABMS.
  • Comfortable running codes and rapid with open ICU with a tele-intensivist.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:
  • 12-hour day shifts with a day rounding APP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
  • Work in coordination with a tele-intensivist running codes and rapid but not responsible for doing procedures.
  • Utilize EPIC with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
