Job Summary
The Construction Technology Manager is responsible for integrating Construction processes into a unified architecture and developing a comprehensive roadmap for effective business technology solutions. The position plays a vital role in guiding the digital transformation of Construction, promoting data-driven project execution by collaborating extensively with functional leaders, Digital & Information Technology (D&IT) and management throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop business and technology aligned roadmaps to demonstrate Solution and Market Sector support of capabilities
• Prioritize investments and make critical decisions on where to invest based upon business needs
• Act as point of escalation for underperforming technologies, capabilities and vendors to ensure best outcomes for the business
• Delegate and distribute post implementation and support capabilities to extended team members ensuring focus on long term and strategic efforts
• Build business cases, including NPV analysis and change management plans, to share with senior leadership regarding critical investment needs
• Lead and drive delivery of new and advanced capabilities for construction by influencing Office of Chief Digital Technology Officer (CDTO) and other stakeholder groups
• Maintain working knowledge of Construction best practices and policies
• Functional ownership (for interface with IT group) of Construction systems
• Maintain documentation of Construction data and functional requirements
• Administer Construction tool and system evaluation and selection processes
Management Responsibilities
Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration
• Knowledge of data architecture concepts and construction technology industry
• Field assignment experience (Construction / Project Controls)
• Proven SME in all areas of Construction
• Effective collaboration and proven ability to positively influence decision making
• Develop and implement operational tactics aligned with business strategy
Minimum Qualifications
• Four-year Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Information Systems or local equivalent with 8 years of construction management experience
• 8+ years of engineering and construction operations leadership experience
• 3+ years of technology management experience and years of innovation advancements in construction

Work Environment/Physical Demands
Typical office environment Including sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds. May require periodic visits to construction sites.
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
