Job description

Role Overview
Join a high‑impact team as an Enterprise Technology Consultant and place yourself at the heart of enterprise digitalization. In this role you will help organizations align technology with business goals, driving digital transformation, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation, with a focus on consumption, subscription, event, and  usage‑driven business models for market leaders and high-growth companies in sectors that include media, high-tech, telecom, life sciences, shipping and logistics, mobility, travel, and more. The position blends hands‑on digital engineering, transformative program delivery, and client advisory, and offers a clear career pathway from consultant to architecture leadership. The position requires hybrid/remote work flexibility and readiness for targeted domestic and global travel.

Role and impact
You will join a team that translates operational objectives into transformation roadmaps and delivers technology that scales to today’s high-volume data-driven business world. As a consultant you will contribute to solution design workshops and implement technology that properly handles business transactions (e.g., EV charging transactions, membership subscriptions, media streaming events, parcel shipping, travel bookings, expressway usage, medical device usage, etc.). Your work will be visible to executive stakeholders and will materially influence client transformation programs and platform roadmaps.
Key responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate orchestration workflows that convert heterogeneous event formats into auditable, analytics‑ready datasets
  • Assist in and facilitate client workshops to capture requirements, map value, and define transition strategies
  • Deliver advisory services including architecture reviews, governance frameworks, and operational playbooks
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines, deploy in Kubernetes and cloud environments, and tune throughput under load
  • Author runbooks and dashboards that enable sustainable operations
  • Support scoping and contribute to thought leadership that positions clients for long‑term digital advantage

Candidate profile and skills
We’re seeking candidates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or other closely related fields.

Preferred consulting strengths include:
  • Workshop facilitation and participation
  • Strong stakeholder communication
  • Ability to map technical tradeoffs against business value
  • Ability to engage with international stakeholders and travel domestically/globally for strategic engagements (on an infrequent, targeted basis)
Preferred technical skills include:
  • Mediation platform knowledge
  • Scripting and automation (Shell, Python, or similar)
  • Kubernetes and Helm proficiency
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Observability tooling familiarity (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Growth path
This role is a fast track to solution architecture: you’ll receive mentorship, milestone‑based progression, and a professional development budget to pursue certifications and advanced training. We offer a competitive compensation package including market‑leading base salary and performance bonuses, and a full benefits suite covering medical, dental, vision, retirement match, generous PTO, and parental leave.

The role is based in Cincinnati, OH or Indianapolis, IN with hybrid work options and expectations for domestic and international travel.

Be part of the team that turns event streams into strategic assets. If you thrive on complexity, enjoy advising leaders, and are eager to grow from consultant into a cutting‑edge architect, this role is your launchpad.
