Where do technology consultants work?

Technology consultants generally work for a consulting firm but may travel within their local region or around the world helping clients to achieve their goals. Because of this travel, your office may change daily, and you likely spend little time at your home base, although you may use remote technology to avoid travel while still providing consulting services. Technology consultants are rarely working on the same project or for the same company for longer than a few months at a time, so although most people in this role work indoors and at a desk or table, you may find yourself in a wide variety of spaces in this role.
