One of clients has an outstanding opportunity for seasoned pre-sales oriented Security Sales Engineer. Our client is a global leader the cyber security industry (1B public company; OEM). They’ve developed security solutions designed to meet the needs of the most demanding F500 enterprise customers – to help protect them against disruptions in availability, performance, and security. Their solutions provide real-time, pervasive visibility, detection and mitigation to address the challenges of a constantly changing threat landscape.

The Role:What they are looking for is a Security Sales Engineer to work with Enterprise Customers in the Central Region to handle pre-sales engineering as well as proof of concepts (PoC). This role is for a technical resource that can position, design and implement solutions and demonstrate their extensive capabilities in order to help close potential sales. It is a dynamic and exciting role. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter experts in a wide range of security disciplines including DDoS and NDR.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years experience in pre-sales engineering – with experience in NDR and DDoS solutions for enterprise clients
  • Must have a good understanding of most of the following:
    • today’s modern security landscape, NDR XDR, EDR, SOAR, BGP FlowSpec
    • MITRE ATT&CK framework
    • Experience with any of the following: ExtraHop, Stealthwatch, Vectra AI, Darktrace, RSA NetWitness, CoreLight, Netscout nGenius or ISNG,  BackTrack, Kali, HPING, ZAP, tcpreplay, CVE, VirusTotal, Wireshark, AlienVault, Cyber Kill Chain, Mitre Framework, STIX/TAXII, IOC’s. IP TCP UDP, NetFlow, LAN / WAN 
    • network security, cloud security, trend analysis, Kills Chains, Packet Analysis / Sniffer, Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) like Threat Quotient
    • Hands on technical experience with Incident Response (IR)
  • Must have excellent communications skills, customer facing skills, and great teaming skills.
  • Must be able to travel approximately up to 20% (within the region).
