Job Description

Nightwing is searching for a Technical Trainer for a large, dynamic program area. The Technical Trainer is responsible for collaborating within a team environment to develop all aspects of training including training development, applicability (do the classes meet real world objectives), SME integration (are the right instructors involved in the training), standardization (is the developed training material consistent training courses) and working with instructors to ensure they have the appropriate tools to complete classes conducted both a Nightwing facilities and other CONUS sites.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate should have prior experience with:

  • Course Development: Integration of real-world scenarios.
  • Course Immersion: Putting the trainees into representative situations.
  • Training Standardization: Developing courses that feel similar and fit into the existing training structure
  • Training requirements: Identifying all the needs to completely execute the developed training.
  • Training Feedback: Understanding where the training fell short from both observation and trainee feedback forms.
  • Training Revision: Course refinement based on the feedback provided.

Skills:

  • Self-starter working equally well independently and in team environments.
  • Exercises sound personal judgment in unfamiliar, ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and change focus as demands change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable with the use of document/records management, Microsoft Office suite, and web-based tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated capability to design structured training frameworks that immerse the training group in exercises to meet the training objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years experience in a training environment or related field environment
  • 12+ experience working with the customer in a classified environment
  • 12+ years experience in training coordination, administrative support, or a related field


Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
