Responsibilities
The Technical Drawing Administrator (TDA) is responsible for initiating new drawings, updating, and incorporating changes based on As-Builts. Additionally, the TDA will manage large libraries of CAD drawings and perform document control (sign-out / sign-in/return). They will report to the Service Manager (SM).
  • Update and manage existing drawing packages for use with multiple systems.
  • Create and modify detailed and contract drawings, Process large format print requests, Work with engineers and modelers in order to meet project deadlines.
  • Comply with Company drawing standards and symbols, create small to medium sized drawing packages, Configure large format plotters and batch plotting.
  • Uses AutoCAD/Revit/Navisworks
  • Coordinates with Design Engineering, Project Management, and Client Stakeholder groups.
  • Attends weekly coordination meetings for specific projects.
  • Visits alteration and construction projects to ensure as-builts are consistent and accurate.
  • Manages the Drawings Libraries controlling release and return requirements for drawings released to authorized personnel.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED w/ a minimum of 4+ years of experience of AUTOCAD drawing experience, to include initiating new drawings, updating, and incorporating changes based on As-Builts.
  • Experience in managing drawing's libraries controlling release and return requirements for drawings released to authorized personnel.

Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain & maintain an HSPD-12.
