We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Office Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
  • Processing contractor payments and change orders
  • Preparing field assessments quality review
  • Preparing takeoffs
  • Review and incorporate historical data from contractors to produce productivity reports
  • Maintain project records, daily reports, and correspondence
  • Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contractor documentation
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation such as meeting minutes, sign-in sheets, etc
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with NYSDOT procedures, specifications, and contract requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualification & Skills: 
  • 10+ years of REI/CI experience on infrastructure projects
  • 5+ years of experience working on NYSDOT projects preferred
  • 5+ years of Office Engineering experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with web-based data management software, such as SiteManager, PIMS, Procore, ASITE, ProjectWise, etc
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering
  • OSHA 30
  • Experience working with public agencies required
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work respectfully with multi‐discipline teams and maintain composure under deadlines.
Expected salary range is $120,000 - $145,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
