Job description

We are seeking a skilled, organized, and proactive Drafter to join our engineering team. This professional will be responsible for analyzing production drawings and for the creation of new drawings.

Our company manufactures industrial storage systems using bent sheet metal components and structural steel profiles.  The ideal candidate is and interested in contributing to both production efficiency and new product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review production drawings and fabrication plans.
  • Develop technical drawings and new manufacturing projects.
  • Verify dimensions, tolerances, materials, and assembly details.
  • Maintain and organize technical drawing databases and project documentation.
  • Support manufacturing teams with technical clarification and drawing interpretation.
  • Identify production challenges and propose practical engineering solutions.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and creating industrial fabrication drawings.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending processes, and structural steel profiles.
  • Education or training related to drafting, mechanical design, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and databases efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Agility and strong sense of urgency in handling tasks and project deadlines.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment involving similar systems is preferred.
