Position Title: Jr. Technical Associated

The Mvix Technical & Logistics Team has a job for you! We keep our operations running by:

  • Preparing, configuring, testing, and packaging digital signage hardware for deployment
  • Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments
  • Managing inventory and maintaining accurate asset records
  • Performing basic Linux system checks and hardware verification
  • Ensuring orders are accurately assembled, documented, and shipped on time
  • Supporting production and logistics activities that help deliver exceptional customer experiences

Mvix, a leading digital signage provider in the Dulles Technology Corridor, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a Junior Technical Associate.

This is an hourly, in-office position based at our headquarters in Sterling, VA. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

While this is a FULL TIME role, we have a flexible schedule and open to considering a 32-hr/week minimum Part-Time option as well


Requirements

  • Basic Linux experience and familiarity with the command line.
  • A natural tinkering aptitude—you enjoy building, fixing, troubleshooting, or learning how technology works.
  • Comfortable working with computer hardware and electronic devices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, warehouse operations, or technical assembly is a plus, but not required.
  • Above all, have the desire to learn.
