Job Description:

Rotational Position (Full Time) - Commercial & Technical Associate

Huntsman is seeking a Commercial & Technical Associate supporting the Advanced Materials (ADMAT) Division located in HATC, Texas. This position will report to the Sr Technical Services Manager.

Job Scope

This role is part of a rotational program designed to provide exposure to key customer-facing functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Technical Service. The position offers hands-on experience in commercial operations and supports business initiatives across multiple functions.

The program is designed to build a strong foundation in customer engagement, product understanding, and market dynamics, while developing the skills needed to grow into future leadership roles within the Advanced Materials division.

In summary, as the Commercial & Technical Associate, you will:Technical Rotation
  • Assist with lab-based technical work to support customer requests.
  • Create technical data and reports that support customer opportunities.
  • Support stage-gate innovation projects and raw material evaluations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Advanced Materials products and performance benefits.
Marketing Rotation
  • Support portfolio volume management projects, including analysis and reporting.
  • Manage lead tracking, data mining, and market intelligence activities.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis for the region.
  • Develop an understanding of the markets and competitive positioning.
Sales Rotation
  • Perform inside sales responsibilities and support the sales team with proposals and CRM updates.
  • Assist with commercial contract tracking projects, including monitoring and reporting.
  • Conduct Voice of the Customer data analysis and summarize insights.
  • Develop an understanding of customer needs and the value provided by Huntsman.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Follow instructions and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
  • Assist other employees in accomplishing Huntsman company goals.
  • Participate in and complete company-required training programs.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives as set forth by the company.
Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

Education required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience required
  • Commitment to a 3-year rotational program (1 year per rotation).
Skills and knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with data tools is a plus.
