About the Role:
The Executive Assistant serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and plays a critical role in helping the organization operate effectively. The successful candidate will help manage priorities, improve efficiency, coordinate communications, reduce organizational noise, and ensure that important initiatives continue moving forward.
Success in this role is measured by the ability to create efficiency, improve follow-through, protect executive time, and help the CEO focus on the highest value opportunities.

What You'll Do:
  • Executive Leadership Support: Manage CEO priorities, scheduling, travel, and key initiatives to ensure focus on strategic objectives
  • Communication & Coordination: Oversee executive communications, draft high-level materials, and ensure consistent follow-through across stakeholders
  • Operational Excellence: Support core business operations, reporting, and governance activities, including board and committee preparation
  • Process & Technology Optimization: Drive efficiency through improved systems, automation, and effective use of technology

What Qualifications You Bring:
  • Experience
    • 5+ years supporting executives or other leadership positions
    • Proven ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong judgment handling confidential information
  • Technical & systems skills
    • Advanced proficiency in:
      • Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms)
    • Experience with:
      • Calendar, travel coordination, project tracking systems, & scheduling tools (Outlook, Calendly, etc.)
  • AI & automation mindset
    • Comfortable using and experimenting with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) to improve efficiency
    • Ability to leverage AI for drafting emails, summarizing information, and creating reports
    • Interest in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows
    • Quick learner of emerging technologies and digital tools

Location:
Must be able to work from our Cary, NC office at least two day a week after training.
