Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Salary Range: $65,000.00 – $89,000.00

Position Summary

Heli America is seeking a proactive and execution-driven Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist to support the company’s continued growth and organizational development in North America. This role will focus primarily on recruiting execution, candidate pipeline development, interview coordination, hiring process tracking, and employee lifecycle support. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural business environment. This is not a passive HR support role. The position requires strong follow-up discipline, ownership of hiring progress, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with clear deadlines and visible results.


Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, and comfortable supporting both recruiting execution and day-to-day people operations. This person is able to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with candidates and hiring managers, follow through on open items, and maintain accurate documentation. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys recruiting coordination, candidate communication, process tracking, and structured HR operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-moving business environment where priorities may shift, timelines matter, and clear follow-up is important.

Key Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition / Recruiting — 60%

·      Own day-to-day recruiting execution for assigned roles, with a focus on sales, service technician, operations, and corporate support positions.

·      Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, industry networks, and other recruiting channels.

·      Conduct initial resume screening and phone screens based on role requirements and hiring manager expectations.

·      Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, hiring manager feedback, and next-step follow-up.

·      Maintain a recruiting pipeline tracker with candidate status, next action, owner, deadline, and blockers.

·      Support job description updates and job posting management.

·      Ensure timely candidate follow-up and professional candidate experience.

·      Prepare weekly recruiting updates for HR leadership and hiring managers.

·      Track recruiting metrics, including candidate volume, screen rate, interview rate, offer status, and time-to-fill.

People Operations / Employee Lifecycle — 25%

·      Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including offer coordination, new hire paperwork, I-9/E-Verify, employee file setup, system access coordination, policy acknowledgments, and exit documentation.

·      Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and internal folders.

·      Coordinate with internal departments for equipment, access cards, parking, email/system setup, and onboarding readiness.

·      Assist with benefits administration, employee questions, broker/vendor coordination, and enrollment follow-up.

·      Support timekeeping, attendance tracking, PTO records, and related follow-up with managers.

Compliance, Incident & HR Administration — 10%

·      Support incident report documentation, workers’ compensation coordination, return-to-work tracking, and related recordkeeping.

·      Assist with HR compliance documentation, policy acknowledgment tracking, employee records audits, and recurring HR deadlines.

·      Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation for employee-related matters.

Administrative Support — 5%

·      Provide limited administrative support related to employee services, office coordination, employee events, vendor communication, and recurring internal support tasks.

·      The administrative portion of this role should support HR operations but should not dilute the primary recruiting and people operations responsibilities.


Preferred qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred.

·      PHR, SHRM preferred.

·      1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR operations, talent acquisition coordination, or people operations.

·      Experience recruiting for sales, service, warehouse, technician, or industrial roles is strongly preferred.

·      Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage deadlines without constant reminders.

·      Comfortable using LinkedIn, Indeed, HRIS systems, spreadsheets, and recruiting trackers.

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·      High attention to detail and strong documentation habits.

·      Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-changing business environment.

·      Must be comfortable working on-site and supporting hands-on business operations.

·      Corporate environment experience.
