TA Warehouse Technician (Turnaround Specialist)Location: Lima, OH

Employment Type: Full-time, Project-Based (Temporary)

Core Schedule: Monday–Friday, 07:00am – 03:30pm

Operational Requirement: Must be available for 12-hour days, 7 days per week during peak phases.

Role Overview: Reporting to the Turnaround or Main Warehouse Manager, this role supports daily warehouse operations and specialized Turnaround (TA) events. Key responsibilities include SAP inventory management, material kitting/staging, and performing Quality Control (QC) inspections to support refinery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Turnaround (TA) Management

  • Planning: Help manage incoming materials/equipment including kitting, tagging, and staging. Coordinate material transfers (pick-ups/returns) with the Main Warehouse.
  • Execution: Support TA contractors by issuing materials, recording transfer dates, and resolving material issues in real-time.
  • Closeout: Coordinate post-turnaround cleanup, removing unused materials from staging areas and restoring warehouse organization.

Warehouse Operations & Material Management

  • Systems Management: Transact all aspects of inventory using SAP (MM/PM modules), IPS, and EDMS. Log receiving info, POs, and staged locations.
  • Quality & Inspection: Perform Positive Material Identification (PMI) and Quality Control (QC) documentation. Inspect materials for defects and manage the Nonconformance Report (NCR) process.
  • Logistics: Coordinate with drivers and refinery personnel and perform small package delivery to refinery units and manage non-stock/direct charge items.
  • Physical Requirements: Perform cycle counts, kit materials for project schedules, and maintain a high level of housekeeping (5S). Must be able to operate a forklift for periods of time.
