As Systems Engineer you'll need to identify user problems promptly, develop solutions and communicate those solutions both internally and to the clients while always maintaining our high level of customer satisfaction. You'll work on more complex or emergency service tickets and projects so you will be in one of the primary positions for our team. You must be a self-starter, a leader as well as a great problem solver.

The Systems Engineer Position:

  • Work will be done remotely supporting desktops and user issues via phone, email, remote access tools and onsite at client locations. Service Engineer will also perform troubleshooting and support for servers, projects and client onboarding.
  • Travel to client locations to troubleshoot, install and maintain equipment.
  • Communicate with clients as needed to resolve support issues and relay client requests for purchase of additional services.
  • Participate in meetings and train Help Desk and Field Technicians.
  • Assist in developing client It strategies.
  • Assist Help Desk Technicians, Field Technicians and Field Engineers with support issues that require escalation as directed by the Service Coordinator or Service Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

* In order to be considered for the position and move forward in the interview process, qualified applicants must complete an assessment*


  • Ability to pass test demonstrating strong written and verbal communications skills
  • 5+ years IT support experience, 3 or more years as a Field Engineer, with proven experience working on servers and multiple complex projects as lead technician
  • Ability to pass advanced proficiency tests on hardware, software, networking, servers and cloud services and mobile devices
  • Ability to work as scheduled sitting, standing, stooping, lift and carry 35 lbs., use a keyboard, and speak on the phone
  • Ability to travel to client site using private vehicle, hired vehicle, walking or public transit
  • Ability to be lead technician on server and workstation projects and diagnose network issues
  • Cloud, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure certifications a plus!
  • Managed Services (MSP), Connectwise and Kaseya experience a plus!
