Job description

Systems Engineer
Location: Houston, TX 77064 (onsite)
As a Systems Engineer, you'll be a part of Systems Operations team, supporting, maintaining system performance, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions.
This role focuses on day-to-day server operations and security policies. Your expertise in virtual private servers, system administration, and cloud services, will support and strengthen security stance, and scale infrastructure to meet growing business needs.
You will be responsible for:
  • Maintain System security Policies
  • Windows and Linux systems administration
  • Troubleshoot level 2 Infra Incident & management
  • System endpoint monitor developments
  • Maintain virtual private server, backup
  • Maintain Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP and DC to ensure secure, reliable access and identity management.
  • Utilize SCOM, Microsoft Configuration manager, Zabbix to monitor performance
  • Response to after-hours emergencies as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7 years of IT infrastructure experience, with minimum of 4 years supporting virtual private server and backup.
  • Experience in Level 2 Infra Incident Management & troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux Administration
  • Microsoft - AD, DNS, DC, DHCP, NTP, and Certificate Services.
