Position Summary
The Systems Engineer I provides Level 1 & 2 support for SharePoint, OneDrive, servers, Active Directory, Office 365 applications and other applications as needed. This position conducts testing and studies in support of IT cloud related systems and works tickets to meet service level agreements (SLAs). The Systems Engineer I provides support utilizing Company vendors, product support teams, change management team, and IT management. This position reports to the Infrastructure Manager and provides excellent customer service to employees while demonstrating the Company values and supporting the mission.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 support for SharePoint, OneDrive, servers, Active Directory, Office 365 applications and other applications as needed
  • Support Active Directory and Windows platform
  • Provide technical support utilizing Company vendors, product support teams, change management team, and IT management
  • Provide support for IT infrastructure helpdesk team and other systems engineers
  • Collaborate with Security team regarding SharePoint security and best practices
  • Conduct testing and studies as directed in support of IT cloud related systems
  • Work and close tickets as assigned to meet service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor and report on performance and usage of IT cloud infrastructure systems utilizing current engineering support tools
  • Assist other engineers, help desk technicians, outside consultants, customer and employees in a productive and pleasant manner
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
  • Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
  • Attend training as requested
  • Participate in outside community activities as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • College or technical school preferred
  • IT infrastructure experience as a Systems Admin Level I or higher, providing support for IT on premise and cloud infrastructure environments
  • Advanced Microsoft certifications preferred
  • Intermediate skill set with SharePoint troubleshooting tools
  • General knowledge of bank technology operational procedures preferred
  • Experience with personal computers including operating systems and hardware configurations
  • Ability to assess technology needs, obtain information when systems are degraded or inoperable, prioritize needs, and troubleshoot
  • Experience with networking hardware and software preferred
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Familiar with Azure related services, virtualization and storage best practices, configurations, and communication
  • Ability to perform testing, including planning, documenting, and knowledge transfer as directed
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and initiative to see problems through completion
  • Ability to communicate with team members, employees, customers, and vendors in a clear, concise and professional manner
  • Ability to work closely and effectively in a team environment consisting of technicians, engineers, vendors, consultants, and customers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
