Now Hiring – Survey Research Intercept Interviewers

Noor Workforce Solutions is seeking outgoing and motivated Survey Research Intercept Interviewers to conduct face-to-face brief interviews with visitors at the Indianapolis Zoo, for ZooBoo this fall with data collection between Saturday, September 26th and October 28th. You will receive full, paid virtual training and support while in the field. Interviewers must be persuasive, energetic, friendly, and self-motivated, but also organized and detail oriented.
 
  • The pay rate range for this position is $20-$24/hour ($20/hour base pay PLUS a $4/hour completion bonus for every hour worked on this assignment when successfully completed).
  • Paid virtual training on Friday, September 25th at 2 p.m. Eastern

Responsibilities of an Intercept Interviewer:
 
  • Travel to the Indianapolis Zoo, 1200 West Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46222, to work a 4-hour shift on selected dates below.
  • Intercept and engage visitors to complete an in-person interview using an iPad, and asking them about their visitor experience at the Indianapolis Zoo
  • Keep respondent information and survey details confidential
  • Follow all project specifications and best practices for survey research
  • Be professional and friendly at all times when conducting the surveys
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned
  • Dress code – a company-provided polo shirt, lanyard with credentials, khaki or black slacks (no jeans) and comfortable walking shoes.
 
Requirements of an Intercept Interviewer:
 
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have previous experience in a market research role, working as a field, intercept, or phone interviewer
  • Must be outgoing and confident to ask people to complete a brief survey of about 3 to 4 minutes in length
  • Must meet project expectations and goals for required number of completed surveys per hour
  • Must check in with project director when you have arrived for your scheduled shift
  • Must be friendly and professional
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be familiar with Apple products (iPad)

Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be available at the Zoo on the following dates:
 
  • Saturday, September 26th – 4 to 8 PM
  • Sunday, September 27th – 4 to 8 PM
  • Thursday October 1st – 3 to 7 PM
  • Saturday, October 3rd – 3 to 7 PM
  • Wednesday, October 7th – 3 to 7 PM
  • Friday, October 9th – 4 to 8 PM
  • Sunday, October 11th – 2 to 6 PM
  • Saturday, October 17th – 4 to 8 PM
  • Thursday, October 22nd – 3 to 7 PM
  • Friday, October 23rd – 4 to 8 PM
  • Sunday, October 25th – 2 to 6 PM
  • Wednesday, October 28th – 3 to 7 PM
 
Qualifications of an Intercept Interviewer:
 
  • Previous field data collection or interviewing experience preferred
  • Must enjoy interacting with all sorts of people
  • Must treat all respondents with sincere professionalism, politeness and friendliness
