Description:

The Sales Support Manager plays a critical role in supporting our Growth team by building compelling sales materials, shaping narratives for prospect conversations, and growing the sales team's presence on social media. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong writer/storyteller, and energized by turning insights, trends, and data into materials that help win new business.

Sales Strategy & Support:

  • Partner with Sales to develop strategic approaches for pitches, including pre-meeting research, positioning, and messaging.
  • Prepare and customize pitch decks and supporting materials tailored to each prospect and vertical.
  • Adapt and refine case studies to align with specific prospect needs and conversations.
  • Capture meeting notes and support timely, effective follow-ups in partnership with Sales.

Messaging, Storytelling & Thought Leadership:

  • Craft compelling stories and outreach messaging tailored to specific industries and verticals.
  • Curate and share relevant current events, industry news, and articles to support sales outreach efforts.
  • Track and synthesize social media trends and emerging AI trends to inform sales narratives and prospect conversations.

Social & Brand Presence:

  • Rethink, develop, and execute a cohesive LinkedIn strategy for the entire sales team to improve visibility, engagement, and prospecting effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and content ideas to help sales leaders build authentic, consistent thought leadership.

Project Management:

  • Manage version control and distribution of sales collateral across teams, ensuring the team always has access to the latest decks, case studies, and materials.
  • Own timelines for content requests from Sales, tracking progress from request through delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input (Client Services, Marketing) needed to complete materials on deadline.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Client Services and Sales to support smooth handoffs and ensure up-to-date performance metrics, results, and success stories are incorporated into outreach and pitch materials.
  • Coordinate and execute all sales and marketing gifting initiatives to support prospecting and relationship building.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales support, sales enablement, marketing, or a related client-facing/content role.
  • Demonstrated experience building polished sales decks, presentations, or client-facing materials (PowerPoint/Google Slides proficiency required; Canva a plus).
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data, trends, or research into a compelling narrative for a specific audience.
  • Experience managing a LinkedIn or social presence for an individual, team, or brand (personal branding, thought leadership content, or company social strategy).
  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent content requests and deadlines across different stakeholders (project management mindset).
  • Strong collaborator who can work cross-functionally with Sales, Client Services, and Marketing, translating input from multiple sources into a single cohesive deliverable.
  • Excellent attention to detail - this role is customer-facing by proxy, so materials need to be error-free and on-brand.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
