Position Overview:
As a Mobile Trailer Technician, you will travel to customer locations to perform trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This is a hands-on role ideal for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service in the field. You'll work on a wide range of trailer systems and equipment while representing one of the most recognized transportation maintenance networks in North America.
What You'll Do
โ€ข Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs
โ€ข Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues
โ€ข Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
โ€ข Repair and replace trailer components including:
  • Brake systems
  • Suspension systems
  • Electrical wiring and lighting
  • Floors, doors, frames, and structural components
  • Troubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues

โ€ข Perform welding and fabrication work as required
โ€ข Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
โ€ข Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle
โ€ข Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician
  • LIFTGATE REPAIR EXPERIENCE AN ASSET
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
