Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Senior Application Support Developer to our team of talented professionals!
Our client's program maintains stability and public confidence in the nation's financial system by insuring deposits, examining and supervising financial institutions, and managing receiverships. This program is responsible for all activities related to the closing, management, and resolution of failed financial institutions.
Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
  • You will lead the design, development, and operational support for Citizen Developed applications.
  • Performs software development activities such as application/solution architecture, software design,
  • construction, debugging, testing, component integration, and maintenance using best
  • practices and techniques, specifications, relevant standards and tools.
  • Designs complex Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) that are user-friendly and intuitive.
  • Ensures work products and deliverables meet software development, quality assurance, infrastructure, data
  • integrity, security, and privacy standards and RBOA/TO requirements.
  • Provides technical leadership to less experienced staff in same role.

Work Location: This role is based in Arlington, VA or Dallas, TX and would require you to reside close to either of these citites.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree and 10 years experience or Masters degree and 8 years experience
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience developing and implementing applications using Agile principles
  • 8 or more years of experience developing applications for clients using Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, SharePoint, Visual Studio, Java, C#, Visual Basic, Oracle, SQL Server, or other similar software.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience leading application development in the role of technical lead, solutions architect, or project manager.
  • Experience developing and documenting application architecture, technical design, and user interface design components.
  • Experience analyzing and resolving technical issues relating to data or application integration and system architecture.
  • Experience providing technical guidance to clients.
  • Experience developing presentations and presenting to clients.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
