Position: Dremio Support Developer (AWS)
Location: Houston, TX (3 days hybrid onsite)
Job Summary:

We are looking for a Dremio Support Developer with AWS cloud experience to support and maintain our data platform. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, improving performance, and ensuring smooth data operations in a Dremio and AWS environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Dremio platform
  • Troubleshoot query failures, performance issues, and data access problems
  • Monitor system health, logs, and resolve incidents in a timely manner
  • Work with AWS services like S3, Glue, and IAM
  • Support data pipelines and ensure data availability
  • Optimize SQL queries and improve performance using Dremio reflections
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams
  • Maintain documentation for issues and solutions


Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Dremio
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, IAM, etc.)
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Basic knowledge of Python or scripting is a plus
  • Understanding of data lake / data warehouse concepts


Good to Have:

  • Experience with tools like Spark, Iceberg, or data lakehouse platforms
  • Exposure to monitoring tools and production support processes
