As a supply chain intern, your responsibilities are to assist with the procurement of inventory and coordinate the purchase of products for your employer based on the company’s needs. Since you are likely to be a student in this role, the primary goal is to gain experience with supply chains as preparation for a permanent position after you graduate. Supply chain interns often practice developing supply chains, deliver presentations to senior leadership, and use analytical skills to help improve existing processes. You may also shadow employees to learn complex or additional aspects of a supply chain job.

What does a supply chain intern do?

A Supply Chain Intern supports the supply chain team by assisting with tasks such as inventory management, data analysis, order processing, and logistics coordination.
