Job Responsibilities:

    • Long term capacity and resource planning.
    • Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements.
    • Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
    • Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
    • Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling.
    • Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
    • Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution.
    • Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review.
    • Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team.
    • Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution.
    • Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities includingrapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs.

This position may be filled as a Level 1 or Level 2 based on the qualifications outlined below.

Basic Qualifications Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

    • A Bachelor's degree; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 4 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment .
    • MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Basic Qualifications Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

    • A Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Master's degree with 0 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 6 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment .
    • MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Must have previous experience in Supply Chain

Primary Level Salary Range: $57,300.00 - $85,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
