Job Responsibilities:

Position Overview

Intern will work on spend analysis projects for Magna Mirrors NA divisions as well as purchase database maintenance and development. The incumbent will provide an overall support for the Purchasing team to manage and track expenditures. The intern will also work on Supply Chain projects including supplier on time delivery, stockout tracking, inventory issues, supplier deliveries, and global supply chain transportation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • GSA/QPF/eRFX/Baan auditing

  • Commodity Performance initiatives

  • Purchase order processing

  • Supplier Database maintenance and cleansing

  • Perform other duties as required

  • Supply Chain Data base creation

  • Supplier On Time Delivery

  • Inventory Reports / Transportation

Qualifications:

  • Some related experience preferred

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma

  • Currently Attending a College or University- supply chain/finance/business or related field

Special Knowledge / Skills:

  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal) Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:
