SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Subcontracts Administrator at GDIT. Here, youll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Contract Management.

HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Develops and administers subcontracts and other agreements of intermediate value and risk in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and procedures
  • Administers subcontracts through pre-award planning, subcontract award, post-award administration, and closeout
  • Documents all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policy
  • Supports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissions
  • Performs analysis on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonableness
  • Provides advice and interpretation of contract requirements
  • Team player who is willing to jump in and help other Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needs
  • The ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detail
  • Generate reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as required
  • Serves as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues
  • Initiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelors degree
  • Experience: 2+ years of related experience in Subcontracts Administration or Contracts Administration experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oral
    • Ability to juggle multiple RFPs and subcontracts status and actions
    • Effective communication skills
    • Ability to operate and negotiate independently and escalating when necessary
    • Problem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given day
    • Customer service skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situations
  • Security Clearance Level:No clearance needed
  • Location:This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite (3) days a week minimum.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $73,999. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
