REPORTS TO: Building Administrators
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Study Hall Monitor supervises all students assigned to the Study Hall and maintains an environment that is conducive to learning and high educational expectations for students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Determine seat assignments and take attendance.
- Uphold study hall rules, Board policies, and follow administrative procedures.
- Keep the principal informed about persistent behavior problems. Occasionally, communicate with parents regarding student work and behavior.
- Communicate with teachers in regards to students' homework and assignments.
- Keep track of the location of each student assigned to the study hall. Authenticate students' requests to go to the library, guidance office, meet with teachers, etc.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and help students with questions.
- Provide guidance, communicate high expectations, and show an active interest in student progress.
- Complete annual employee training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by designee.

- Requires the ability to sit with intermittent occasional walking, standing, bending, and squatting.

- Required to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading.
- Occasionally required to lift or carry supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment at a minimum of 35 pounds.

SALARY: $17.70 / hour
HOURS / DAY: 6.5
