About the Role: 

Novella Education Group Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated CLASSTIME Academic Support Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys by providing personalized support and guidance. If you love working with students and helping them reach their full potential, we want to hear from you! 


Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise the CLASSTIME™ study hall environment.
  • Help students prioritize assignments and manage their academic workload.
  • Support students with homework completion across subject areas.
  • Provide guidance with organization, planning, time management, and study skills.
  • Help students develop effective academic habits and routines.
  • Provide executive-functioning support and accountability.
  • Monitor student attendance, participation, and progress.
  • Track student usage and communicate relevant concerns to the Novella Prep program manager.
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other CLASSTIME™ teachers.
  • Follow Novella Prep's academic methodology and program expectations.

    Requirements:

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Education; Master's degree preferred.
    • Prior experience in tutoring, academic intervention, or classroom instruction preferred
    • Strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum and differentiated instruction strategies
    • Valid teaching certification or licensure (preferred or required per state guidelines)
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Patient, empathetic, and student-centered approach to teaching
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented educational environment
