Job description

Overview

We are seeking a creative and motivated Photo Studio Intern to support daily studio operations while gaining exposure to studio management. This role is ideal for someone interested in photography, content production, and the business side of running a studio. The intern will assist with shoots, sample organization, and coordination while learning how studio workflows are managed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the “Cavender’s Culture” and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Assist Studio Manager during studio and on-location shoots
  • Help set up and break down lighting, backdrops, and equipment
  • Organize and maintain samples in coordination with the buying team
  • Manage digital files, including organizing, renaming, and archiving images
  • Coordinate props, styling elements, and shoot preparation
  • Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and ecommerce image execution
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Photography, Media, Business, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Basic knowledge of photography principles a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Based in Tyler, TX at our Home Office (Tyler-area residence)

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with retail or multi-location business operations
  • Creative eye for styling and composition
  • Experience with data analysis or problem-solving projects in a classroom or work setting
