Vice President of Structural Steel Operationsย 
**Required- 7+ years of structural steel fabrication management experience
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of the company to maximize production in a cost efficient manner.ย  Responsible for increasing profit margin and minimizing overall business costs through proven leadership and business practices. ย 
  • Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, management, pricing, sales, and/or distribution of products.
    Review financial statements, sales and production reports to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
    Manage various departments and staff to establish company goals and identify the resources needed to achieve them.ย  Prepare work schedules and assigning or reassigning job duties.
    Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures,
    Monitor projects and department budgets to ensure costs are within or under constraints.
    Direct and coordinate organizationโ€™s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
  • Minimum of 15 years of related leadership experience and structural steel fabrication.ย  HS Diploma or Equivalent.ย ย 
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, financial analysis, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.ย  Knowledge of principles and methods for leading organizations to optimal performance;ย  Knowledge of steel related equipment and raw materials along with associated pricing; ย Thorough knowledge of steel fabrication and erection procedures; Knowledge of economic and accounting principles.ย  Knowledge of construction contracts and general building codes.ย  General knowledge of insurance and bonding procedures.ย  Proven ability to lead and direct a workforce to achieve company goals profitably.ย  Strong critical thinking and effective budgeting skills.
