Job Duties

The Project Assistant position with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation will support and assist the Learning and Community Engagement team with the planning and logistics for the summer 2027 teacher professional development travel program funded through a grant secured from the Lilly Foundation. 

Minimum Qualifications

Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to changing situations with a positive "can-do" attitude.
Ability to take direction and provide feedback to supervisor and coworkers
Efficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Familiarity and experience working with travel programs/conference planning, tourism industry/working with large groups
Customer service experience

Additional Considerations

This position is funded for 9 months and may work up to 30 hours per week.
