Our Kohler Waters Spateam at Lincoln Park offers more than 50 innovative spa services using thehealing properties of Earth's mineral-rich waters and provides an oasis oftranquility in the heart of a bustling Windy City neighborhood. Join ourworld-class team of spa professionals and help our guests renew and rechargewhile they experience five-star living at its finest.
Specificresponsibilities of a Spa Attendant include:
  • Attend to women's or men's (same gender as associate) Respite Room to maintain order, cleanliness and amenities; replenish clean towel supply throughout the facility.
  • Perform rounds of the facility to ensure neatness and order.
  • Attend to the Reception Desk located in the lower level to accommodate client check-in for sandals, robes and lockers.
  • Understand basic RIO system operations for "view-only" purposes, thereby providing communication of service times and availability of services to guests.
  • Gather used linens from treatment rooms and assemble for pick-up by The American Club laundry staff; distribute clean linens to designated storage areas and/or treatment rooms.
  • Assist spa technicians with cleaning of baths between client treatments.
  • Support the maintenance staff with daily readings/testing of water in the Spa Relaxation
  • Maintain neatness and order around the Spa Relaxation Pool lounge area.
  • Advise Spa Hostess on food and beverage replenishment during the day.
  • Assist Group Coordinator with setup tasks involving special group requirements. For example, setup of signage and message boards, etc.
  • Know and understand The American Club resort property and its businesses to provide information for guests.
  • Consistently maintain cleanliness of desk, reception area, retail centers, and if needed, flooring.
  • Inform Supervisor if additional staff is needed.
  • Responsible for knowing and performing proper opening/closing procedures as related to this position (see opening and closing checklist of responsibilities).
  • Provide food and beverage support and delivery of lunches, as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service for all spa guests.
  • Greet people immediately upon arrival.
  • Know what services, and amount of time for each service, each tech performs.
  • Know the proper procedures for emergency situations.
  • Complete an on-site certified CPR training course facilitated by Sports Core Fitness Trainers.

Thisis a full-time position, working weekdays & weekends withshifts between 7:00am and 9:00pm.
Skills/Requirements
  • Minimum of high school diploma.
  • Prior computer and/or facility maintenance experience helpful.
  • Customer service-related experience required.

The hourly range for this position is $11.90 - $17.90 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
