POSITION PROFILE

The Spa Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the spa. They oversee the scheduling of appointments, maintain inventory levels, and ensure that customers have a positive experience. In addition, they manage the front desk, answer phones, and respond to customer inquiries.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Manage guest appointments and ensure timely and accurate communication with guests.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure that the spa is clean and well-organized at all times.
  • Train and supervise spa staff as needed.
  • Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer issues as needed.
  • Process guest payments and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate.
  • Prepare reports and manage scheduling software.
  • Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all spa related activities consistent with the policies, philosophy and objectives of the spa.
  • Host staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase sales and service.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure a cohesive hotel/spa environment.
  • Communicate on all levels with staff, colleagues and management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Previous spa, salon, hospitality experience.
  • Ability to excel in an environment that sets goals, tracks progress and strives for growth.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Experience with SpaSoft. Strong professional presentation, technical ability and relationship building.
