Job description

The Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management, governance, and successful execution of customer implementations and delivery workstreams. This role ensures delivery activities are strategically planned, milestones are achieved, risks are proactively managed, and commitments are met with quality and transparency. The Delivery Manager serves as the primary project and operational point of contact for assigned workstreams and acts as the coordination bridge between customers, Delivery leadership, Product, Engineering, and Support teams. This role is accountable for overall project health, maintaining delivery momentum, resolving blockers, and ensuring adherence to established delivery standards, timelines, and governance processes.

This is a dedicated individual contributor role that combines project ownership, delivery leadership, and hands-on execution across customer implementations. The Delivery Manager is responsible for personally managing day-to-day delivery activities, including planning, reporting, documentation, stakeholder communication, risk management, issue resolution, and coordination, without dedicated project coordination or administrative support. This position has no direct reports and does not include people-management responsibilities.

We are in a period of significant growth, transformation, and operational maturation as we continue to evolve our delivery organization, strengthen implementation governance, standardize delivery practices, and expand our healthcare technology platform. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping shape how customer implementations are delivered while driving successful outcomes across active client projects.

Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple concurrent customer implementations, products, priorities, stakeholders, and competing delivery commitments while maintaining visibility into project health, risks, dependencies, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in an evolving environment, bringing structure, accountability, and execution discipline while continuously identifying opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness and customer outcomes.

You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, QA, Support, and Delivery leadership, to deliver complex healthcare and insurance technology solutions. This hybrid role provides significant visibility across the organization and the opportunity to influence delivery excellence, implementation consistency, and customer success as the business continues to grow and scale. Successful candidates will be comfortable partnering with Product and technical leadership to translate strategic priorities, technical dependencies, and product roadmap objectives into executable delivery plans and implementation outcomes.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: College degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.

Preferred: Certifications in project or delivery methodologies (e.g. PMP, CSM, or equivalent)

EXPERIENCE

Required - Minimum 5 years of experience:

Agile delivery management or technical project management, with a proven track record of stabilizing delivery in high growth, changing, or legacy software environments

Software implementation, SaaS environments, or enterprise technology delivery using technology stacks that include AWS, Azure, GCP, RESTful APIs, and DevOps delivery pipelines

Leading or coordinating customer-facing delivery workstreams or implementations

Working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, QA, and Support

Partnering with Product and technical leadership to translate product roadmaps, technical priorities, dependencies, and implementation requirements into executable delivery plans and enforce alignment with agreed delivery commitments, milestones, and implementation objectives

Managing delivery timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks

Leading and managing the delivery of complex, regulated systems with comparable data, compliance, and operational requirements

Delivery or Agile methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or structured delivery approaches)

Use of delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms)

Preferred - experience in one or more of the following environments:

Healthcare insurance technology, including claims processing, benefits administration, or related platforms

Healthcare or insurance regulatory environments, including Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, ACA (Qualified Health Plans), or similar programs

Helping drive the transition from highly customized client delivery models toward standardized platform configurations and implementation practices within SaaS or enterprise technology environments

Group or voluntary benefits administration platforms, including underwriting, rating, case installation, or policy management systems

Flexibility to travel as business needs dictate is required. Travel may include domestic overnight trips to Company offices, client sites, or other designated locations to support meetings, technical planning, training sessions, operational alignment, or Company events.
