Purpose of Position:
The Global Solution Delivery Manager is responsible for governing, standardizing, and optimizing the delivery of Hexagon Mining solutions across all regions. This role ensures that solution deployments, customer implementations, delivery processes, and offered services are executed consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with global standards.
The Global Delivery Manager acts as the central coordination point between regional delivery teams, global support, product management, and engineering, driving operational excellence and enabling scalable deployment models across Hexagon's mining portfolio.
This role leads the global delivery function, establishes KPIs, and ensures effective communication, alignment, and continuous improvement across all delivery activities.
Key Objectives:
  • Establish a globally consistent delivery framework for Hexagon Mining solutions
  • Ensure successful, repeatable, and scalable solution deployments across regions
  • Improve delivery performance, visibility, and accountability through metrics and governance
  • Enable seamless collaboration between Support, Product, and Regional Teams
  • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices and standard processes
Major Areas of Responsibility:
1. Global Delivery Governance & Standards
  • Define, implement, and maintain global delivery standards, methodologies, and best practices
  • Establish delivery frameworks covering:
    • Solution implementation
    • Commissioning and handover to support
    • Customer onboarding and adoption
    • Hexagon Mining offered services
  • Ensure alignment of regional delivery practices with global standards
  • Promote reusability of delivery models across solutions and business units

2. Program & Project Oversight
  • Provide oversight for global and strategic deployments and offered services, especially complex, multi-region implementations
  • Support regions in managing high-risk or high-value projects
  • Ensure consistent execution of project lifecycle phases:
    • Discovery and planning
    • Deployment and commissioning
    • Transition to support

3. KPI Management & Reporting
  • Define and track delivery KPIs and performance metrics across all regions
  • Monitor:
    • Deployment timelines
    • Quality of delivery
    • Customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership with actionable insights
  • Drive accountability through data-driven performance management

4. Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Act as the primary liaison between Global Support, Product Management, Engineering, and Regional Teams
  • Ensure delivery readiness for new product introductions and releases
  • Facilitate alignment on:

  • Bridge gaps between product development and field execution

5. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
  • Lead delivery retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Promote a culture of lessons learned and knowledge sharing across regions

6. Delivery Team Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate the global delivery function and associated roles
  • Support regional delivery teams with guidance, frameworks, and escalation support

7. Delivery Strategy Ownership
  • Own and drive the global delivery roadmap in alignment with business objectives

Knowledge and Experience - Required:
  • 8-12+ years of experience in:
    • Solution delivery, project management, or operations in mining or industrial technology
  • Proven experience managing:
    • Global or multi-region delivery programs
    • Complex technical implementations (software, hardware, or integrated systems)
  • Experience working with remote operations, autonomous systems, or mining technologies preferred
Technical and Functional Skills:
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Solution deployment lifecycle
    • IT/OT integration and system architecture
    • Mining operations (surface or underground)
  • Experience with delivery tools, project tracking, and reporting systems
  • Ability to define and implement standardized processes at scale
