Job Description

Position: Solution Delivery Manager - Microsoft Dynamics AX 

Duration: 2 Years

Home Based/Remote

Location: Falls Church,VA 

Can work from anywhere across US with an approx. 40% travel involved however please keep the resources notified that it can change based on the client expectations

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for the Solution Design and quality of multiple concurrent Microsoft Dynamics AX projects, consulting team management and support, maintaining ongoing customer relationships and managing work in the customer base3

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

ICT/IT degree (or related field such as Accounting or Finance)

Proven Experience

Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior Consultant role 

Minimum 5 years' Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation experience

Proven business expertise in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance/Operations or Manufacturing

Attributes 

Superior written and verbal skills

Ability to deal with a wide range of customers and industries

Strong people management for both local and remote employees

Ability to successfully work actively in multiple projects concurrently

Experience with designing and implementing modifications

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Microsoft Dynamics AX Certifications

Possess relevant industry qualification (CPIM, CPA, PEng, etc.)

Proven Experience

Team Leader/management experience

Software implementation experience

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Providing senior level business and application consulting services 

Providing solution oversight on multiple projects

Providing guidance and support to your consulting team, ensuring that they are meeting their agreed upon accountabilities

Building ongoing relationships with customers

Analyzing customer business needs then identifying and designing solutions

Working with the sales team to identify and nurture opportunities and provide direction during the sales cycle

Planning and scheduling consultants' work; negotiating resolution to resourcing conflicts

Preparing and performing product demonstrations 

Managing issues and escalations in projects

Understanding the customer's total solution and working with the project manager to ensure all activities are scheduled and delivered

Delivering promotional activities in conjunction with the marketing team

Assisting to refine implementation methodologies

Assisting to ensure AX practice financial targets are met
