SAP QM Consultant

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6+ Month

Job Description:

Lead the end-to-end deployment of the QM solution, including planning and execution to deliver impactful business solutions

Configure standard SAP QM core sub-modules. These include Quality Planning, Quality Inspection (e.g., origin types 01, 03, 04, 08), Quality Notifications, and Quality Certificates

Cross-functional: Drive complex system integrations. Align QM rules with Materials Management (MM) for incoming goods, Production Planning (PP) for in-process checks, Plant Maintenance (PM) for test equipment calibration, and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

Provide functional and solution support for SAP QM, covering incoming inspection, in-process inspection, outbound inspection, quality notifications, and audit management.

Drive hands-on configuration, design validation, and issue resolution in SAP QM, ensuring solution feasibility and adherence to SAP best practices.

Guide teams on quality data, inspection planning, defect recording, and compliance reporting, ensuring audit readiness.

Mentor junior consultants and QM team members, contributing to team capability building and delivery quality.

Own the testing strategy across multiple cycles. Manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression cycles, and defect triage.

Guide teams through data cleansing and object migration. Oversee the validation of critical master data such as material masters, inspection plans, sampling procedures, and master inspection characteristics (MICs)

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree +

Min 8 - 10 Years of SAP QM experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience with Production Planning (PP) and Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)

Hands-on experience across multiple SAP QM implementation phases, including design, build, test, and deploy.

S/4HANA Projects: Proven experience executing at least 1 to 2 full lifecycle implementations specifically using SAP S/4HANA

Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain quality processes, and their enablement within SAP.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for quality process optimization.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
