The position we are offering is Full-Time and is based in our corporate office; please note, this is Not a Remote Job. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to significantly impact our sales efforts and contribute towards sustainable energy solutions.

As a Solar Consultant at Signaturenrgy, you will be at the forefront of the solar industry, engaging directly with potential clients to educate, consult, and guide them in making informed decisions about solar energy products. This role calls for proactive engagement with the community and a deep understanding of the products and benefits of solar energy, ensuring you can effectively convert interest into tangible sales results.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Canvass neighborhoods to identify potential clients and generate leads for solar energy solutions.
  • Close both self-generated deals and pre-set appointments provided by the company, ensuring high conversion rates.
  • Provide accurate and effective consultations that meet the client's energy requirements and financial capacities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of solar products, updates in solar technologies, and state-specific solar incentives.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotes for potential clients, including cost-benefit analysis and energy savings projections.
  • Follow up diligently with leads through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to maximize closing opportunities.
  • Train and mentor new and existing team members on best practices for client interaction, canvassing techniques, and effective sales strategies.
  • Participate in community events, expos, and seminars to promote the company’s solar products and enhance brand recognition.
  • Ensure all dealings and documentation comply with the legal standards and regulations set within the solar industry.
  • Assist clients throughout the transaction process, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction to promote referrals and return business.
Requirements
  • Must have experience in Solar Sales.
  • Must Have an HIS License valid in California.
  • Must Have own transportation and have a Valid Drivers License.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proof of sales achievements in previous roles is mandatory.
  • 1-3 years experience in Door to Door sales, preferably in the solar or related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team player and manage a sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of current trends in solar power and renewable energy technologies.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to close deals effectively and efficiently.
  • High level of self-motivation and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability to travel locally to meet potential clients and attend events as required.
