Master's Level Counseling / Social Work Internship

Family Centered Treatment (FCT) โ€“ Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a paid, partโ€‘time Master's Level Counseling / Social Work Intern to join our Family Centered Treatment (FCT) team beginning Fall 2026. This 9โ€‘month internship offers handsโ€‘on clinical experience while supporting families in their homes and communities.

About the Role

As an FCT intern, you will:

  • Provide individual, family, couples, group, and substance use counseling under supervision

  • Deliver psychoeducation, skillโ€‘building, and therapeutic mentoring

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop strengthโ€‘based treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in weekly clinical supervision

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field

  • Enrollment in a Master's program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy

  • Ability to meet internship agreement requirements with your university
