Overview

Skyward Spectrum provides in-home applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services. We are seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) to provide direct therapy services to clients.

Schedule:

  • Part-time (daytime or evening) and full-time positions available

  • Work a standard schedule Monday - Friday, and/or choose a weekend/evening option

  • Flexible availability

Work Setting:

  • In home, in school & in community

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent

  • RBT Certification (Preferred) or willing to become certified within 30 days

  • Compassion and patience towards children with disabilities and their families

  • Technologically proficient; familiarity with Apple and/or Android devices.

  • 18 years of age

  • Experience working with children

  • Must be punctual, professional, and reliable

  • Empathy, integrity, and a positive upbeat energy

  • Personal means of transportation (willing to travel)

  • Clear background check and drug test

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Needs to move about the child's home, playground or natural environments to engage in ABA Therapy with children.

  • Must be able to ascend/descend stairs/ladders to engage children in gross motor activities.

  • Must be able to position self on the floor to engage with children during activities.

  • Experience/Education in field such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. Preferred (preferred).

  • 6 months of ABA experience working with children with Autism (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy

  • Implement the treatment plan created by your BCBA supervisor

  • Travel to client homes

  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.

  • Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and input into an electronic device, logging all hours and data accurately.

  • Attend Monthly Staff Meetings

  • Communicate with parents and with BCBA to improve treatment over time

  • Take detailed session notes

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekends optional
