Job description

Xpodigital (www.xpodigital.com) is the leader in digital signage and convention internet, delivering innovative, customized experiences to clients worldwide. We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Digital Signage Sales Manager with 5–6 years of experience in sales and customer service, ideally within hospitality, events, technology, or another fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience selling IT or digital signage solutions is a plus, and a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is highly valued.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges through digital signage sales, and delivering practical, results-driven technology solutions for conferences, trade shows, sporting events, and other live events.


Candidates must be currently residing in the Detroit, MI area and be comfortable commuting everyday to Downtown Detroit (48226). Our primary business operations are based in Orlando, Florida.


As you become proficient in our products, services, and technology, you will:


  • Convert prospective customers to new clients through effective sales discussions, presentations and relationship development
  • Work with prospective and existing clients to define, develop, coordinate and implement Digital Signage solutions for client events (e.g., conferences, shows, sporting events, etc.), including through event site visits as well as pre-planning and planning meetings with the client and venue
  • Record clients’ digital signage solutions requirements in Xpodigital’s proprietary client support app to enable solution planning, installation, management and invoicing
  • Negotiate client pricing to win new business and increase existing client business, developing innovative solutions to meet client budget requirements
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with venue Sales and Events partners, Executive Board and other key staff as well as client event contacts
  • Provide onsite support for client events and serve as liaison between client and technical staff as needed
  • Develop future event business forecasts for purposes of revenue and resource planning; create post-event reports
  • Provide contact status reports and present relevant updates in monthly partner meetings with venue
  • Gain a complete understanding of Xpodigital products and technology and become proficient with services offered and associated pricing models
  • Work with accounting for end-of-month reconciliation
  • Participate and travel in industry-related sales mission trips and conferences - 30%
  • Support the National / Regional / Local Business (NRLI) sales efforts
  • Able to perform limited technical support, including monitoring and reporting signage issues, receiving and storing DS equipment shipped to the site, placing and moving LED posters, replacing signage players and assisting support in trouble-shooting.
