Job description

We are looking for a highly meticulous, organized, and local Website Content Product Specialist to join our team on-site in Ontario, CA. If you have an eagle eye for detail, enjoy working with physical products, and love keeping digital platforms perfectly organized, we want to hear from you!

In this role, your primary mission is accuracy. You will bridge the gap between our physical manufacturing and our digital presence, ensuring our extensive product catalog contains exact dimensions, correct technical details, and looks professional across our platforms.

Note: You do not need to be a coder or a tech wizard! We have a full-time developer on staff right here in the office to handle all the heavy technical lifting and coding glitches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Catalog Management: Add, update, and remove product listings and content across WordPress and Shopify.
  • Physical Spec Verification: Hand-on inspection of products to measure and verify physical specs (dimensions, weight, features, and technical details) to ensure data matches the physical product perfectly.
  • Digital Asset Management: Upload and organize product images, videos, brochures, catalogs, installation manuals, and spec sheets. Maintain clean, easy-to-navigate digital asset libraries.
  • Quality Assurance and Auditing: Conduct regular website audits to catch and fix typos, formatting inconsistencies, or outdated information. Ensure product categorization, filtering, navigation, and search functions are accurate and user-friendly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for website content updates, coordinating closely with our sales, marketing, engineering, and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience managing website content, product information, digital assets, or content management systems (WordPress and Shopify experience required).
  • Obsessive Attention to Detail: Exceptional written communication, proofreading, and formatting skills. You notice the small inaccuracies that others miss.
  • Hands-on Precise: Comfortable physically measuring and checking manufacturing specifications for accuracy.
  • Software Literacy: Proficient with Google Workspace and digital file organization best practices.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple updates and deadlines simultaneously while working independently in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Highly Valued Extras (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Bilingual: Spanish speaking is highly sought after and a major asset for team communication.
  • Software Savvy: Experience with specialized data/content software or inventory management systems is a strong plus.
