Job description

Delco Brands is a growing e-commerce and distribution company specializing in consumer electronics, smart-home products, security products, HVAC controls, and other leading branded merchandise. We sell through major online marketplaces, direct-to-consumer websites, and business-to-business channels.
We are looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media & Content Manager to build our online presence, create engaging content, and help generate qualified leads and sales.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on position for someone who understands how to turn products, company activities, and industry knowledge into content that attracts attention and produces measurable business results.
You will manage Delco Brands’ presence across major social media platforms, develop and publish content, engage with our audience, and help turn social media traffic into customers, wholesale inquiries, and business opportunities.
The ideal candidate is creative enough to produce compelling content, analytical enough to understand performance data, and commercially minded enough to connect content with revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Delco Brands’ presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and other relevant platforms
  • Create and maintain a consistent social media content calendar
  • Produce short-form videos, reels, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes content, graphics, captions, and promotional posts
  • Film and edit content featuring products, warehouse operations, employees, company updates, and educational topics
  • Repurpose longer videos and existing company materials into platform-specific content
  • Develop content designed to generate product sales, wholesale inquiries, contractor leads, and business-to-business opportunities
  • Write clear calls to action that direct users to our websites, product pages, contact forms, and sales team
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, mentions, reviews, and customer engagement
  • Coordinate with sales, e-commerce, warehouse, and management teams to identify products and promotions to feature
  • Assist with influencer, affiliate, brand, and creator outreach
  • Support paid social media campaigns and retargeting initiatives
  • Track key performance indicators, including reach, engagement, website traffic, leads, conversions, and sales
  • Review performance data and continuously improve content based on results
  • Stay current with platform trends, algorithms, content formats, and emerging social media opportunities
  • Maintain brand consistency across all content and communication
  • Help manage online reputation and professionally respond to customer feedback when appropriate
Qualifications:
  • Approximately 1–4 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, e-commerce, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their content formats
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content
  • Strong writing, captioning, and communication skills
  • Basic graphic-design capabilities using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar software
  • Experience with video-editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
  • Comfortable appearing on camera occasionally or directing others during content production
  • Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and platform schedules
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • A practical understanding of how content can generate leads and sales
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with an e-commerce, distribution, consumer-electronics, smart-home, or retail company
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, online marketplaces, email marketing, or customer relationship management systems
  • Experience creating business-to-business and direct-to-consumer content
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising, lead-generation campaigns, and conversion tracking
  • Photography or product-videography experience
  • Existing portfolio or examples of social media accounts, videos, graphics, or campaigns you have managed
What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role will be measured by more than follower growth. The right candidate will help Delco Brands:
  • Increase qualified website traffic
  • Generate wholesale and business-to-business leads
  • Improve engagement with potential customers
  • Increase product awareness and online sales
  • Build a recognizable and credible brand presence
  • Create a consistent pipeline of high-quality content
  • Identify which content formats and platforms produce the strongest business results
What We Offer:
  • Flexible or negotiable work arrangement
  • Opportunity to work with recognizable consumer brands and products
  • Significant creative freedom and ownership of the company’s social media presence
  • Access to products, warehouse operations, and company resources for content creation
  • Opportunity to grow into a senior marketing, content, or brand-management position
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and capabilities
How to Apply:
Please submit the following:
  • Your résumé
  • A brief introduction explaining why you are interested in the position
  • Links to social media accounts, videos, graphics, campaigns, or other content you have created
  • A short description of a social media campaign or content strategy you believe could generate leads or sales for Delco Brands
Candidates who provide a relevant portfolio or examples of their work will receive priority consideration.
