Job description

Job Description Job Description Clayton Services is searching for a Shop Helper to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The Shop Helper plays a key part in supporting shop and production operations, including crating products, cleaning pipe, and operating a variety of saws, grinders, and other power tools. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to perform a wide range of duties to keep operations running smoothly.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $18.00/hour plus OT Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more. Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm or 3:30 pm - 2:00 am Shop Helper Responsibilities: Crate and prepare finished products for shipment or storage. Clean and prepare pipe and other materials for production use.

Safely operate saws, grinders, and other hand or power tools. Assist with various shop and production tasks as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Support both day-to-day operations and special projects as needed. Shop Helper Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Shop Helper Education and Experience: Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, or production environment.

Comfortable operating hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment. Shop Helper - Immediate need. Apply today!
