The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Shop Coordinator to join our team in Garland, Texas. As the Shop Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of Service jobs from start to finish, including scheduling work for Technicians, and ensuring customer expectations are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Shop Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing and managing Service jobs and incoming leads
  • Scheduling work for Technicians
  • Communicating with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are optimized and customer requirements are managed proactively
  • Maintaining effective communication with external customers, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Reviewing WIP reports and billing applicable service calls to customers
  • Opening and updating work orders in the ERP system
  • Ensuring corporate safety initiatives and programs are strictly followed

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • One year of previous work experience related to scheduling or dispatching
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills and planning skills
  • A customer-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Confident self-starter and team player

The base pay range for this role is: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
