Shop Helper/Facilities Support

Location: Our facility will be relocating to Castle Rock, CO in December of 2026, currently the position is based in Centennial, CO

Compensation: $20–$23 per hour

Schedule: Day shift, with occasional weekend work

 Position Overview

American Striping Company (ASC), a Frontline Road Safety Group company, is seeking a dependable and hands-on Utility Worker (Shop Helper / Parts Runner) to support efficient daily operations across our Centennial, CO properties, warehouse, and field teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of physical work, organization, and team support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Field & Fleet Support

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments; verify quantities and materials
  • Coordinate delivery and pickup of equipment, materials, and documents
  • Support fleet and shop operations, including parts and supply transport
  • Assist field teams with signage placement, material delivery, and job support
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles

Facilities & Grounds Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance of company properties, including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping
  • Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal
  • Monitor and refill propane tanks and nitrogen bottles
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including daily trash removal
  • Restock facility supplies such as paper products and shop consumables

Warehouse & Yard Operations

  • Organize and manage pallets, materials, and storage areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of yard spaces, dumpster areas, and storage facilities
  • Assist with removal of scrap materials and waste products

Inventory & Logistics Support

  • Support incoming and outgoing shipments and freight coordination
  • Perform basic inventory tracking and organization
  • Replace facility items such as light bulbs and HVAC filters as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and vendors
  • Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse processes
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a dynamic environment
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Forklift certification
  • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in warehouse, outdoor, and active environments
  • Ability to reach, bend, and move materials as needed
  • Employees may be asked to perform additional duties as needed.
